Store Policies


1.1. All US and Canada purchases over $200 ship free!

1.2. Domestic shipping times are between 1-3 business days. US shipping is 1-5 business days. And all other countries are 3-21 business days depending on shipping rates you select.

1.3. Ready to ship items will be shipped within 2 business days. (Will be noted in item description if it is ready to ship).

1.4. Made to order items will be shipped once the item is finished. This timeline averaged between 2-4 weeks. But can take up to 8 weeks if your item is backordered, if you would like to know the turnaround time of your item before you order please email me at

1.5. For Custom orders, please discuss timeline estimates with GWFJ as each order can require different lengths of time. We aim to keep custom order turnaround between 1-2 months. But recommend a minimum of 2 months due to current order volume.

1.6. All US and Canada orders over $200USD include free insured and tracked shipping at standard transit times. If you would like upgraded shipping please make sure you select it during checkout. Purchases over $1000USD will be shipped free using FedEX for security.

1.7. Once your order has left our possession and is on route to you, GWFJ is not responsible for any delays, loss, theft or damage during transit. Your items will be insured from the carrier you choose, GWFJ has no control over the package once it has left our hands. GWFJ does not recommend or insure parcels shipped to PO boxes. GWFJ WILL NOT INSURE PARCELS SENT TO PO BOXES.


2.1. All GWFJ Engagement Ring and Wedding bands include one free resizing within one year of purchase.

2.1.1. The client is responsible for all costs to ship the ring back to GWFJ. GWFJ will cover the expenses of resizing the ring within 2 sizes up or down and the cost of return shipping to the client.

2.1.2. If your ring needs to be remade or is ‘complicated’ to resize in which you will be advised of before purchasing, free resizing will not be included.

2.2. GWFJ offers one free resizing at any time in the lifetime of the ring after purchase as a result of maternity.


3.1. Orders shipped within the US or Canada will have no additional duties. Order shipped to any other international countries may be subject to import duties, taxes and fees from the carrier upon delivery. The customer is responsible for these duties.


4.1. We warranty our Gemma Watts Fine Jewelry pieces against manufacturer defects for one year from the date of purchase. This means we will repair or replace, at our discretion, any jewelry with a defect that was present at the time of purchase, free of charge to the customer (excluding shipping costs you incur to send the jewelry to us) up to one year after purchase.

4.1.1. Manufacturer defects do not include normal wear and tear, or accidental damage. GWFJ reserves the right to inspect all jewelry before determining the cause of damage. Wear and tear is expected with fine jewelry. Regular maintenance is required to maintain your jewelry’s integrity.

4.2. GWFJ does not warranty loose gemstones that are NOT set by GWFJ. If you purchase loose gemstones/diamonds, and choose to have your own jeweler (not GWFJ) set them. GWFJ cannot and will not be held liable for any accidental damage, chips, scratches, burns or breakage that may occur once it has left our care, as it is out of our control.

4.3. GWFJ reserves the right to inspect the jewelry to determine the cause of damage before fulfilling a warranty claim.

4.4. The Customer is responsible for shipping costs to our office, and liability associated with shipping warranty claims.

4.5. Additional services, outside of our limited warranty, include but are not limited to: complimentary mail-in prong tightening, re-polishing, rhodium plating and cleaning services.

4.6. In the event that there is ever a problem with your jewelry, or you are in need of other services that are not covered under our warranty, your jewelry can be mailed back to our office for inspection. Once inspected, you will be notified prior to any work being done on your jewelry, should charges apply.

4.7. Please contact us, If you have any questions or request additional repair work needed to service your Gemma Watts Fine Jewelry pieces.


5.1. Lab grown Diamonds are sold with the understanding that there is significant risk to lower prices due to the fact there is an endless supply. They are a synthetic product, manufactured in a factory setting. Considering historical similarities such as lab grown Sapphire/Ruby, we know the value will continue to drop over time. Lab Grown Diamonds will not hold their value in a way to be compared to Natural Diamonds and Gemstones, and we cannot be held responsible for dissatisfaction in the future.


6.1. GWFJ does not accept any responsibility for damages/loss that may occur in our possession and during shipping or transit for any customer pieces/heirlooms.

6.2. Sending your personal pieces away comes solely at risk to you. Diamonds and Gemstones are susceptible to damage and breaking during resetting and manufacturing. GWFJ does not accept any liability for damage, breakage, or loss when working with personal pieces.

6.3. GWFJ is not responsible for determining the quality, value, type, make, or species of your jewelry pieces. We recommend having the piece(s) insured yourself before shipping to GWFJ to cover your liability.


7.1. GWFJ does offer layaways for most orders. Reach out to prior to placing an order to arrange layaways.


8.1. GWFJ has a strong Social Media presence. We use this to connect to clients, current and new. Your orders (including custom) may be anonymously featured on any social media associated with Gemma Watts Fine Jewelry.

8.2. Engagement rings are not shared on social media until after the proposal to maintain the element of surprise.

8.3. If you would like your pieces NOT to be posted online please be sure to mention this to the GWFJ team prior to delivery.

8.4. If you are happy to have your pieces shared online with you tagged, please feel free to mention!

8.5. Please feel free to tag @gemmawattsfinejewelry in all posts, I love seeing my clients wearing the pieces we create together. Tagged posts may be reposted to GWFJ Social Media.


9.1. GWFJ reserves the right to refuse a return upon inspection.

9.2. For online purchases (ready to ship items only), GWFJ will accept returned merchandise in its original condition when accompanied by all the original packaging and printed invoice. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the client. We can either refund you using your original method of payment, minus a 20% restocking fee, or you can save/use the whole balance (100%) of returned item(s) as store credit.

9.3. Return requests must be emailed to within 14 calendar days of receiving your order. Return requests outside of the 14 days, may be accepted for store credit at GWFJ's discretion.

9.4. Your return will be inspected by GWFJ before a return is accepted. GWFJ reserves the right to reject returns if the item(s) is not in its original condition. The item cannot show any signs of damage, alteration, or wear in any way. We cannot accept jewelry that has been worn, used, altered or damaged.

9.5. Made-to-order, and custom made pieces (includes engraved items) are not eligible for returns/refunds due to the nature of the order. If you are not happy with your made-to-order or custom item, please email us at so we can work together to ensure your satisfaction!

9.6. Please try to be as sure as possible when ordering sizes, as clients are responsible for shipping back to GWFJ for resizing.
