INITIAL CONSULTATION
This step can happen in a variety of settings. We only communicate via email FOR THIS STAGE. During this step we will work on narrowing down style and budget. Specifically for the commission piece Diamond/Gemstone size and quality. We will guide you through the process of choosing what Diamond and Gemstone specifications suit your needs, and help educate you on quality and the diamond market!
This is were we can chat about size, quality, price, etc, of the Diamonds and/ or gemstones you want to include!
After this step, once I've received the deposit, I will start getting photos and prices for you on specific diamonds/gemstones.
The $500usd consult deposit is non-refundable, but can be transferred to any purchase you make from GWFJ and has no expiration (exceptions apply, at my digression).

DESIGN MEETING
We prefer to do this step in person, but if that isn't possible for you thats not a problem! I am always happy to work around your needs. Especially since we deal with many international clients, in person meetings are usually not possible.Phone, instant messaging, video chat, etc are all possible options for meetings.
The cost of a design consult meeting is $500usd non-refundable, which is applied as credit to your final cost.
During this meeting, you will be presented with specific Diamonds/Gemstones I have personally selected just for you based on discussions we've had previously.
This can sometimes take a few rounds, as the centre stone is the most important aspect of the design. Sometimes we go through multiple options before finding the perfect one.
This stage includes concept sketches done by Gemma.

FINALIZING THE DESIGN
After we have an agreed on concept and estimate, 50% or the cost of the centre stone (whichever is more) of the total estimate is due to proceed.
The 50% deposit is required to memo, reserve stones, and receive technical design sketches by Gemma.
YOUR MASTERPIECE COMES TO LIFE
Once we have a technical sketch that has been approved by you, the Diamond/Gemstone and design head off to the goldsmith. Depending on the type of project, you will receive CAD renderings which are computerized renderings that accurately represent what your final piece will look like when completed. Your specific Diamond/Gemstones included.
Once we have your approval of the CAD, the goldsmith makes your ring and depending on the time of year this typically takes between 8 weeks.
All finished GWFJ pieces can have an Appraisal Certificate from a professional indapendant 3rd party to confirm value and for your insurance purposes. This is an additional $200USD, and is conducted by a trusted colleague. Please add 1-2 weeks to your timeline for an appraisal certificate.
If you purchased a certified diamond/gemstone your final piece will also come with the original paperwork and official certificate.

DELIVERY
Your commission piece is finished!
You will receive final photos and videos to approve before final payment and shipping.
Before delivery to you, I require the full balance of the piece to be paid off.
The final balance will be calculated at this time, within a reasonable range of your estimate.
We ship using FedEx express, or hand delivery can be arranged at your cost.
